My Review of NextGenLinks

A new contextual deep link building service called NextGenLinks promises to be the next best thing in improving your sites ranking in the search engines.   The new service provides contextual deep linking to every page on your site which is very different from many other similar services that only link to the home page.  This is much better for SEO and looks much more natural to search engines so you avoid the over-optimization penalties.

The new NextGenLinks service allows you a complete level of control over every link you both receive and send to others in the system.  Outbound links from each page are limited to five to prevent too much pagerank leaving your pages.  You can also automate the inbound link building which is the default if you do not want to control who links to you.

One problem I had was their spider did not discover all the pages on my website.  Not sure where the bug is, but since the URL’s are uploaded using a CSV file it was easy enough to make my own list.  I’m sure the minor issues will be ironed out in time.

The customer service and interaction I have observed from the owner Charles Kassotis has been excellent so far.  From what I saw he replies quickly and answers people questions.  I have not had the chance to test the rest of his Help Desk yet.

After joining you simply need to add a domain, add a small snippet of code, spider and upload a CSV file of all your URL’s, and then just wait for contextual backlinks to come in.  A fast and easy system considering all thing, though the inbound links did seem to come in slowly, but that will only improve as more users are joined to the potential list of link partners.

I have hopes NextGenLinks will only continue to improve in the future yet am pleased with what I see from it so far.  Deep linking is the way of the future since it is so close to natural link building that Google, Yahoo, and MSN will love it.

Link Building Strategies For Seo Success.

Link Building Strategies For Seo Success.

Every webmaster knows the importance of building quality backlinks to his/her site over time. However, this should be done with caution as building too many links in a relatively short period could cause your site to be completely ignore by the search engines.

What are Backlinks?

These are links on other websites directed back to your site. The importance and popularity of your site is usually determined by how many webmasters consider a link to your site viable. However, the quality of the backlinks you gather is what the search engines are really interested in.

What are Quality Backlinks?

These a backlinks from websites with similar content to yours. It’s all a game of relevancy and has a lot to do with the success of your website and marketing efforts.

Building backlinks to your site is top priority if you ever hope for a better PR or SERP. There are several legitimate ways of doing this without engaging the so called "black hat" techniques that’ll only get you banned from google and other quality search engines.

Write Articles and submit to Article Directories.

Writing articles and submitting them to article directories is a simple, but very powerful and effective way to create interest and generate traffic to your site. Best of all, it’s absolutely FREE.

Basically it works like this. You write interesting articles and submit them to article directories for webmasters & publishers to use freely on their sites, blogs & in their written works. However, they have to use the article as it is and are not allowed to change it. In the authors resource box within the article, you place a link back to your website so that any reader who likes your work would most likely click on your URL, visit your site and ultimately get you some targeted free traffic.

Your articles should be short, informative and straight to the point. A typical article word-count is usually btw 400-700 words.

Submit your site to Web Directories.

Submitting your website to quality directories online and deep linking within them will not only increase your link popularity but your website PR and SERP as well. Make a list of the top web directories online and manually submit your URL to them. Some would require a reciprocal link back to your site and some will charge a fee for inclusion. Which ever the case, submitting your URL for inclusion in these directorys will guarantee you have some quality backlinks to your website.

Participate in Forums.

You can find forums all over the internet focused on a diverse range of niches. But the "making money at home, internet marketing, webmaster & SEO" forums are by far the most popular. Register for an account with forums in the above niche market and post regularly to the board. Participate constructively in discussions and remember to leave your site URL in your signature so it appears in every post and thread that you participate in.

Be supportive and gradually become a source of good and clean information, become a valued community member. By doing this, you’ll build up reputation and create valuable credibility for yourself. This way, rest assured your site will always be visited by your forum community thus increasing your link popularity and quality backlinks.

There are more techniques that a webmaster can utilize to bulid links and improve SEO for his/her websites, but applying the above link building blueprints will certainly guarantee results, with a little hard work.

The Power Of Deep Link Building

The Power Of Link Building

The Web is built on links, and a solid link building strategy is absolutely essential for any business that wants to thrive online. In essence links that point back to your site do two things: they bring you targeted traffic and they enhance your search engine rankings.

By placing your links on another site that is related to your content, you can bring visitors to your site who are interested in the sort of content you offer. And Google, king of the search engines, places more value (and therefore greater rankings) on sites with multiple links pointing back to them.

I’m sure you’ve heard just about every urban myth imaginable regarding the right way vs. the wrong way to generate links back to your site. Let’s forget about all the hoopla for now and look at the simple basics that apply to a good link building campaign.

The first obvious step is to identify placings that offer you targeted exposure. If you have a website about auto repair tips, you need to find sites and directory categories pertaining to auto repair and place your links there.

Simple enough right? So let’s focus on some of the specific types of sites you should be looking to get links from.

Link Directories:

This almost goes without saying, but just to be safe I’ll include it. One way link directories are a good place to submit your links.

Avoid services that offer to broker reciprocal linking between you and other webmasters, as these programs are often viewed as link farms by Google and can get your site booted from the search engine rankings.

Article Submission:

A fantastic way to acquire links back to your site is to write articles related to your site content and submit these to article directories and newsletter publishers. At the end of each article you write you’ll include a resource box (see mine below) that provides links back to your website.

Forum Signatures:

Join forums that are related to the theme of your site and get involved in the discussion. Please do not join a forum and just post a blatant ad about your site, as this will get you ridiculed and possibly deleted; actually join in the conversations, and include a link to your website in your forum signature.

Blog Comments:

You definitely need a blog of your own, but that’s a subject for other articles. In this piece about link building I want you to understand the power of simply posting comments on other people’s blogs.

Find 10 to 20 blogs that relate to your website, and bookmark them or subscribe to their RSS feeds. A few times each week, visit these blogs and post comments on some of the more interesting articles.

You see, when you fill out the comment form you will be asked for your name and website URL, so you can create a hyperlink with your name or business name that leads right back to your site. Be sure that your comments are legitimate contributions and not just some silly ad for your website.

As blogs are often updated regularly, and have many incoming links to them, your comments (and therefore your link backs) are likely to receive a lot of traffic from search engine spiders and real people. So blog comments are a simple but very powerful method for linking back to your site.

Take the contents of this article and put them to use. This is a totally easy, but definitely effective outline for starting a long-term link building campaign that will bring you lots of traffic and good standing with the search engines.

The Keys To A Successful Website Link Building Strategy

The Keys To A Successful Website Link Building Strategy

A proven website Linking building strategy have shown to be an effective way to create a flow of targeted and qualified traffic to any website regardless of subject.

This can involve a few technical terms and the meaning of these can sometimes be unclear and maybe cause confusion and misinformation.

Lets look at the terms you need to have some understanding of:

1. Reciprocal Linking – This is the simple exchange of links between websites. A site agrees to place a link on one of its pages in exchange for a link from your site. It can be text or a banner/graphic.

2. Themed linking- . This is sites similar in subject linking to each other. Also this can cover the internal linking of the pages in your site between each focused subject page – the use of plain html text linking between pages, is recommended. This makes it easy for the search engines to find the pages.

3. Page Rank-(PR) -This is Googles view of your site in a scale of 0-10. New domains take time to get PR and starts of at zero. The PR of a site that wants to exchange links with you needs to be considered.

4. One way linking -This is the formation of one way links (no suprize here!) using different methods that will be discussed in future articles.

5. 3 way linking – This is the formation of and understanding between 2 webmasters. Webmaster “A” -owns 2 sites (No.1 and No.2). He links to your site from No.1, and in turn asks you to link to site No. 2

6. A Link Farm – This is where your link is placed on many other sites, almost instantly. Normally a paid service, it is not in any theme and rarely results in any traffic. This is a misguided atempt to beat Google and the other major search engines. Not recommended!

7. Anchor Text- This is the html text displayed and used in the link to your site eg: “Click Here” -Normally a blue underlined link.

8. Site wide linking- This is where a webmaster agrees to place a link to your site on every page of his site – Sometimes can be a reciprocal arrangement.

9. Deep Linking – This is the linking to internal pages of a site, normally aimed at a specific keyword and the page is normally in the same theme: eg domain.com/Extra-Large-Cat-Clothes.htm

10. In Content Linking- This is using articles with specific subjects and linking from in those articles in the content, to your site or, in the form of a resource box at the end of the article. Can be a good form of one way linking.

11. Purchase of Paid Text links -This is the purchase of links on sites for the pure purpose of influencing search engine results. Google has come out to disapprove of this and is encouraging webmasters to report any sites doing this.

12. Link exchange directory- A directory of web sites set up that all want to exchange links

13. Social Network Linking -This is links from media like myspace or social bookmaking sites like reddit or stumbleupon.com.com. A large network of themed bookmarking sites have evolved in 2007

There are many effective linking strategies, for effective marketing online at the same time the development of goals with an overall plan to be discussed in future articles.

Deep Linking Strategies For Seo

Deep Linking Strategies For Seo

Linking is one of the prime areas of any SEO campaign and is considered a key concept that can drive targeted traffic to your website if done the right way. The good news is that Linking is effective and the bad news is that there are many aspects of linking that have undergone severe changes over the years.

One of the good aspects is that one single linking tip can put you way ahead of your competition especially where most webmasters think that all you need is a reciprocal link directory for gaining link popularity in some of the top search engines like Google or Yahoo. If you have already gone through the Google page rank update then you are aware of the fact that directories with hundreds of links are not happening any more. It is being treated as a negative tactic.

There was a time when content was supreme and then it shifted to design and other elements and it has come full circle back to content. Hence more and more people have started to focus their efforts in content. Let us look at a different perspective, maybe an example.

Hypothetically, you have a website with 500 pages of resourceful content. If you want to publish articles on multiple categories then the page number can go higher up. Now on the other hand if you have a website with 30 pages, you can expect it to grow to 500 if you keep publishing articles. Now each of the articles as well as the resource pages is live links to your web site. There are two ways by which you can get links to your website in a given situation and they are:

You can get a link for your home page as a part of an exchange for a link to one of relevant article pages on the site with whom you are doing the exchange.

The second option is deep linking. In deep linking, you will get a link straight to the particular page on your web site, which you are going to link them to. The question is how will it benefit you?

So let us look at the various benefits of deep linking:

1. This will make webmasters excited regarding linking with you/your site simply because you will be putting them on your web site and not on any low rank, shady website where people might not visit.

2. This will give a signal to other webmasters that you have studied their website carefully and completely and hence know where their link will fit on your website. It is any day better than a simple swapping of web site links. There is a more meaningful result associated with deep linking.

3. You will start to build link popularity directly on to the pages that are within your web site.

4. You will have the leverage and hence you will be in a position to ask for better links from different web sites. This means that there will be no dumping of links. You will also have the advantage of asking for links of importance from various webmasters.

5. Your links page will grow in value because it will not be crammed with links, it will now have only useful or relevant links.
6. These links will help to direct meaningful or targeted traffic to your website, which in the long-run will generate revenue and provide opportunity for many more traffic spikes.

These benefits are enough to keep your website ahead of competition and will not impact your Google page rank severely even when the next page rank upgrade is released.

Contextual Link Building- an important aspect of SEO Campaign

Link Building- an important aspect of SEO Campaign

Link building is most vital part of any search engine optimization process. To perform it effectively you must give due consideration to the factors like the relevancy of websites, page rank consideration, type and rate of link exchange and other SEO processes. Define links targets on the basis your search engine optimization campaign.

While creating and promoting a successful website, link building is one of the crucial parts in search engine optimization campaign. This helps to improve natural search engine rankings and an important off page optimization factor. Such type of process involves creation of inbound links to your website. Its simply search the database for link exchange, emailing the sites and asking the owners of these sites for links. Sometimes it proves to be very frustrating, difficult and time consuming but still it is vital part of any effective search engine optimization strategy. The basic concept of is getting as many links of your sites scattered all over the World Wide Web. Being an important off page optimization factor, it helps to boost search engine rankings.

The most important factor about link building is the relevancy of the websites. To get your link on the others page involves the process of link exchange or reciprocal link. This means they will put the link on their website in exchange for you doing the same. The more relevant the website is, the more beneficial it is otherwise non relevant website can have negative impact on your search engine ranking. If your site is related to garment then link exchange with cooking website is not going to be relevant. So it should be thought carefully Inbound links are necessary to increase link popularity and higher search engine rankings and traffic. The quality of an inbound link is considered on the basis of its page rank. It depends on your promotion strategy whether you need quality instances and back links then it is better to go for inbound links of higher page rank. On the other hand if you need more visitors to your website and main aim is link popularity then inbound link from page rank zero can also solve your purpose.

There are two types of link building one way and two way. In One Way there is link to your website with no back link or no reciprocal link. Two way involves a link to your website from an external source and a link from your website back to the external source. Link building is a time consuming and tedious process. Still it is one of the best SEO process for getting targeted hits from other websites. So it is an essential part of any search engine optimization campaign. This not only builds and increases links with other websites, it also enhances relationships of webmasters of different websites to achieve their web promotion goals in a collective manner.

The rate of Link exchange should be optimum. Some SEO experts prefer it not to be too fast as some search engines prefer the slow approach. But it’s a fact that search engine givers higher rank to those websites that have quality inbound links, consistent and relevant.

In conclusion, link building campaign can be successful on the basis of these factors. Choose the proper relevant website and then choose the most relevant category for link exchange. Then see the page rank considerations. If the aim is to increase traffic then even relevant website of page rank zero could meet your requirements. On the other hand if you need quality back links then you can for link exchange with higher page rank websites.

Deep Link Building: How to Get In-Bound Links to Your Website

Link Building: How to Get In-Bound Links to Your Website

Getting in-bound links to your site is one of the most important things you can do for generating traffic to your site:

* It helps to get your site listed in the search engine.

* It helps to boost your position in the search engine.

* It helps to build small streams of traffic to your site.

Links to your site are normally given by also giving a link from your site to the other one. These are called reciprocal links or link swaps. And naturally there are a few services available to automate the link somehow.

Some of these services will automatically add the link to your site and the other site once your link request is approved (through some software to be installed on your site).

Some will simply point you to sites which do use link swaps and who are interested in hearing from you.

Some will also check that the link to your site remains in place, and email you if it disappears. It’s then up to you to either contact the owner of that site to find out why the link has vanished, or to remove the reciprocal link on your site.

But there is one thing they do not do, and which you need to watch for:

How would a visitor to the other site FIND the link back to your site?

Because you can be sure that if a human visitor cannot find it, then it’s unlikely that a search engine will.

Let me give you an example: Andrew was using the service at LinkMetro.com to get links to one of his sites. Someone had a site on a related topic, and they requested a link back to Andrew’s. He checked the link back to his site, and everything looked OK. The other site had requested a link back to their homepage (rather than another specific page), so Andrew checked out that home page.

What did he find?

* No links to the "link directory".

* No link to a "related sites" page.

* No link to a "resources" page.

It seemed that the link directory on that other site was not linked from the home page of that site.

The other site was requesting inbound links back to its home page, but effectively hiding the return link from the search engines and from website visitors. And that makes the link back to Andrew’s site useless – it’s like that link doesn’t even exist.

So next time you get asked for a reciprocal link, check the route that people and search engines would use to get from that site over to yours. You might be surprised what you find.

10 Link Building Strategies for High Quality Search Engine Rankings

10 Link Building Strategies for Higher Search Engine Rankings

When it comes to search engine optimization, getting other websites to link to your website is the most important factor in achieving top search engine rankings. Here is a list of 10 link building strategies which you should be implementing for top search engine rankings (in no particular order):

1. Write quality articles – write quality articles that other websites will want to post on their websites and link to. The higher the quality of the article, the more one-way links you’ll get. The best articles to write are ‘how-to’ and informational articles. Stay away from self-promotion.

2. Start a Wordpress blog – setup a Wordpress blog on your website and post articles to it once per week. It’s a great way to build the size of your website, keep your website content fresh and get incoming links. Plus Google loves Wordpress!

3. Syndicate your articles online – take the articles that you’ve posted to your blog and syndicate them on article directories such as Ezine Articles and Go Articles, so that other website owners can post them on their websites.

4. Submit your website to online directories – submit your website to free SEO friendly website directories for a quick way to start building one-way links to your website.

5. Submit your blog to blog directories – use RSS Submit software to submit your blog to blog directories. Use both the automatic and manual submission tools.

6. Exchange links with relevant websites – exchange links with high quality, relevant websites in your field. This can be extremely powerful, as long as you are very selective with whom you exchange links with.

7. Use social bookmarking – submit your blog posts and other high value content to social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Reddit and StumbleUpon. Aside from the one-way link you’ll get and the (short-term) top Google ranking, you can hit the ‘jackpot’ by getting to the first page of digg.com, where you’ll receive thousands of one-way links.

8. Syndicate press releases online – write newsworthy press releases and syndicate them online at press release syndication sites such as PRWeb. If the release is good enough, you can get a lot of one-way links to your site.

9. Post comments on industry blogs – post high value comments on other blogs in your industry to spark discussion. Even if the comments are ‘nofollowed’, you can still get links to your site from other bloggers that refer to your posts.

10. Link between your web pages – use contextual links in your website copy to link to other pages within your websites. Each of your pages should have some PageRank, so why not maximise it?

Do you have any other link building strategies?
