The Most Effective Contextual Link Building Strategies for Your Website

The Most Effective Link Building Strategies for Your Website

Getting your Website to the top of Google and other major search engines should be your top priority if you wish to make money online. To reach the top of Google, your website will need to offer something of value, provide quality content, and build a lot of inbound links.

Inbound links are a key factor for improving Google rankings. How do you build links to your website? There are a number of strategies that have proven effective time and again. Use these seven strategies for building links and improving search engine rankings.

1. Identify the right websites for link targeting. Getting links from other websites is beneficial, but not if you don’t have a plan. Trying to acquire links from just any old website won’t generate the type of return you’re looking for. To determine the best sites for link targeting purposese, simply visit Google and type the keyword or keyword phrase you’re trying to optimize for. Record the #1 Google ranked website for that keyword and see who’s linking to that website. By targeting the same sites, you can mirror the acheivements of the #1 ranked website. There are many tools that can help you do this. One is to type in "link:" into the Google search box and the name of the top ranked website. This will list all of the sites that link to the top ranked site.

2. Build a links page. Before starting any link building program, I strongly encourages those I consult for to build their own Partner page. A partner page or links page is where you can post links from your website to those who may be placing your link on their own website. This is referred to as reciprocal linking and is a great way to start building valuable links to your website. This links page can also be used for other types of link exchanges like 3-way linking. The key is to have some real estate on your own website that you can use to barter for links on other sites.

3. Contacting other websites. Once you’ve identified the sites you should be getting links from, the next step is to begin contacting them and asking for a link exchange or post. There are a variety of ways to acquire links from these sites but one of the best, and most simple ways, is to ask with a contextual email. This is simply an email you send to the websmaster of the site revealing your intentions. The key is to spend some time on the website you’re targeting and to reference something on the site and the fact that a link exchange would be beneficial for both parties.

4. Directory submissions. Getting links from quality directories is a great way to start building links to your website. There are many free directories, and some paid, that can provide one-way links to your site. One-way links are the most valuable kinds of links because each serves as a vote from another website to yours. These are even more valuable if the site that is linking to yours has a high Google PR and only a few other links present on the page where your link is placed.

5. Article Submission. Distributing valuable content in the form of article marketing is a great way to build valuable one-way links. When you create article content and distribute the content via article directories or submissions, you benefit by the links which are present in the "About the Author" section of your article. As others post your articles to their own websites, they include your author box and links back to your website. Article marketing is one of the quickest and most powerful way to build meaningful links.

Link building is the most important SEO strategy you can employ for improving search engine rankings. As we’ve discussed in this article, start by identifying the right sites to target. Contact other websites and ask for a link exchange. Submit to website and article directories and include links back to your website in the about the author section. Using these top SEO strategies are sure to improve your search engine rankings.

NextGenLinks Review + Link Building For More Traffic

NextGenLinks.com Get Unlimited – One Way – Backlinks

Link Building For More Traffic

Best link building strategies to enable webmasters achieve higher link popularity for their websites.

It’s not necessary to use questionable tactics to get more links to your website and drive more traffic to your site. You just need to create better content and spend a little more time in researching on link building strategies. It’s easier said than done, but it won’t cost you a lot of money to do this. Here’s a few tips on getting your link popularity higher.

1.Never Submit Any Post that’s not Worth Reading
Web surfers are not patient and if you give them useless content, they may never give you a second chance. You already know it’s important to keep your site updated; but make sure that when you update your site that you are posting content which is worth reading. It is far better to not post anything than to post poor content – there’s always tomorrow, after all.

2.Update Consistently
Again, keep your site up to date – no one wants to link to a website which is inactive; this makes them seem less credible. Readers will think that this link has been added just to fill out a links page rather than being a genuinely useful source. When adding links to your own site, make sure that your links lead to sites which have updated content; and remember that this rule of thumb on frequent updates is a two way street.

3.Make It Easy for People to Link to You
You should use social bookmarking buttons (Digg, etc.) in your blog posts and the like whenever it is appropriate. Try to make these unobtrusive so as not to risk putting off your readers. You can also ask your readers to link to you in every post – or provide them with a link to these social bookmarking buttons instead. Do whatever you can to keep on reader’s good side; while encouraging them to link back to your site.

4.Submit to Directories
Take advantage of the many directories available to you online – article directories, podcast directories and the like. Submit your content, links, etc. to all of these, since you are increasing your link popularity with every submission you make.
Use the same submission data for every directory you submit to. This assures readers that they are reading submissions from only one source. Be sure to check your content carefully, making sure that your content is free of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. You should also read the terms of service for any site you submit to, to be sure that you are not violating any of their rules with your content. Also check that you are submitting to the right category for your content – otherwise, your submission is unlikely to be read by the people you are trying to reach.

Finally, think about how long it usually takes for your submission to be listed on the directory; this is important if you are trying to time your content to appear on a particular day.

5.Be a Social Butterfly
Obviously, no one can link to your website if they don’t know it’s there at all. You need to get out there and let everyone you can reach know about your website. Join social networking sites and start networking with people who you think may be interested in your site.

If you have a blog, take advantage of the blogging community. Look at other people’s blogs, leave comments and don’t forget to say hello. These blog posters will likely come to your blog in return. If they like your blog, then a reciprocal link exchange is likely.

6.Make Yourself Famous
Write a book, work with experts in your field, get your name out there and make sure that people know about you and your website. This is one of the best ways to get people to check out your website. If your website is of high quality, they’ll keep coming back and become part of your ever-growing audience.

Yet Another NextGenLinks Video + The Last Secret In Link Building

Get unlimited One Way Links to Your Sites Automatically!

The Last Secret In Link Building

There is no secret in link building. If you have been reading up about link building, you will know that you can build links through the following ways:

– website directories
– RSS
– blog comments
– press release
– social bookmarking
– web 2.0 sites
– article marketing

But there is one last secret that many people do not discuss in link building. The last secret in link building is to be "lazy".

Yes, be lazy when it comes to link building. Don’t do all your link building in one month and then abandon your website.

Here’s a typical scenario you may experience when doing link building:

You build a website and enthusiastically build all sorts of links into it. You work every hard in the first month and you are happy that within one month, you get good initial traffic to your new website. But in the subsequent months, you realize that your traffic start to drop and you become disappointed. Eventually you give up.

Frankly, this is when losers fail!

Google is very good in giving you good traffic for 3 months and then take back all the traffic away from you later on.

When that happens, just build more links and all your traffic will come back.

That’s why it’s important not to use up all your link building arsenal overnight! Save some weapon for the future.

What you can do is focus on building website for one month. Just keep building websites and bookmark them to make sure that your new website is listed in Google so that you can benefit from the aging effect.

In the next month, if you feel like doing article submission, just focus on doing article submission for all your websites. Next, you can continue to build more websites and several months down the road, if you feel like doing link directory submission, just do that for all your websites.

Get a spreadsheet to keep track of what you are supposed to do and what you’ve done. The idea is to complete all of them overtime, but not overnight!

Link building is time consuming and the way to speed up your work is to mass produce! If you are doing article submission today, just focus on submitting 10-20 articles.

This fits into our lazy formula.

Let’s say you have 4 websites. You can prepare 5 articles for each website and submit all the 20 articles in one day.

One month later, you can focus on directory submission and spend a few days submit all your 4 websites to hundreds of directories.

Good luck for your link building.

Another NextGenLinks Video and Blogs As An Seo Link Building Strategy

How To Get A PR8 (pagerank 8) Link In 7 Minutes or less!

Blogs As An Seo Link Building Strategy

Blogs are a great link building tool and they are also great for customer relationship building, reputation management, and a good survey tool to get a feel for what people think about new products. To develop a blog so that it is a good search engine optimization (SEO) link building tool it’s important to use linking strategies that are effective with the search engines including Google or Yahoo.

Ideal for customer relations if done properly, a blog is an excellent way to get customer reactions to new products or services, and also as a tool to combat negative press. Just remember that anything you post on the Internet can come back and bite you later on because even a blog post will stay up for a long time. So be very careful what you say.

Starting conversations with your readers online is what works today, and in fact, it is the shift in marketing all together. Another aspect of blogging involves reputation management. For example, you can create a blog for an individual who has negative mentions on Google, and actually "push" the negative posts down to page two on the Internet. You could talk about this person’s activities on the Boards of charities, and post research or trends articles on their blog two to there times a week. The same content can also be written into articles, and posted on the Internet. You cannot, however, submit duplicate content or the Internet search engines will not use it. The content of each article must be at least 30 percent different.

Another aspect of blog writing that people often do not understand is the search engine optimization and PR value. Inside each blog post it’s a good idea to use a key word or phrase, and link that phrase back to a website. The linking strategy might be to link to specific pages in his website that are related to that topic or key phrase – not just to the home page. There are times when we have seen blog posts get picked up by other bloggers, who link to your post.

A goal is required in blogging, and writing and monitoring a blog can be a lot of work. Blogging provides a marketing vehicle that does NOT rely on a third party, including an editor who could write an article about you. What’s more, corporate blogs provide you with an opportunity to tell your company’s story. Various executives in your company, large or small, can post to a corporate blog, so you can create a strategy ahead of time, then assign folks to write about specific topics.

Blogs are a good crisis management tool. Just look at how popular Martha Stewart’s blog was during her court battle. Blogs are a great way to build a database of interested people for later use in opt in email blasts. Send people over to a sign up form on a blog, and you are certain to get a nice opt in database.

Insofar as a return on investment (ROI) for blog writing, it costs very little. You can set up a blog at blogger.com, for free. So it costs you in time – your time, the time of your employees, or the writing fees to hire someone to ghostwrite and monitor your blogs.

Tracking programs let you see if your blog is building traffic to your website. The better your blog’s linking strategies are, the more people will visit your site. You can get details including what happens once a visitor comes in to your website from your blog, including what path they go down? Do they ultimately get funneled to a sale? These things must be tracked on your website by programs like Google Analytics, which is free, or HitsLink. You need the experience to be able to read and analyze the reports to track success once they are generated on HitsLink.

Contextual Link Building For Natural Link Building And Top Rankings

Contextual Link Building For Natural Link Building And Top Rankings

Every business tries to outshine the other to survive in this cut-throat competitive world. But the Google along with other major search engines decide the fate of the websites. They assign different rankings to websites and decide which websites should rank in the top 10 list for their niche keywords. Hence, all webmasters make efforts to please search engines with several SEO techniques. Though link building is one of the best techniques in this regard but basic link building techniques have now become obsolete.

An effective amalgamation of two steps

So, contextual link building now evolved as a new method to increase link juices for your website, which further promises higher search engine rankings. This method is basically an amalgamation of two things that web spiders love to crawl, i.e natural one-way links and superior content.

Visible blogs by expert reviewers

Professional SEO consultants hire expert reviewers who write honest reviews about your website on several visible blogs. At the same time, these reviewers incorporate one-way link to your website within the content that increases the relevancy of these links. Besides, these blogs that will provide you a link will be from diverse Class C IPs. This will ensure that the search engines are unable to track the similarities in algorithms of different websites that provides a link to your site.

Also, all the blogs have completely original content. The post on one blog will not be posted anywhere else to avoid any plagiarism issues. Only one post is updated to every blog daily so that your posts do not get buried in archives without endowing you with any benefit. Each of these unique posts will list anchor text of your choice along with the web pages that you prefer to establish the link with.

Links within the content

All of these permanent links ensure you long term benefits. Needless to say, these links are not associated with any of the sites that contain adult content or are related to bad communities that may reduce your search engine ranking in any way. Also, no links are established with resource directories or FFA link farms.

Apart from traffic building from these links, the blogs on which reviews are posted are already well-promoted throughout the Internet. Hence, you get the additional benefit from the popularity of these blogs.

Some webmasters in order to quicken the results may wish to opt for any big contextual link building package that increases its link building over the Internet immensely in no time. But this doesn’t prove to be of much help as Google doesn’t appreciate a sudden and unnatural increase in link popularity of the websites. So, experienced SEOers advise that it is imperative to proceed slowly but frequently to ensure natural link building campaign and draw the attention of web crawlers.

Hence, contextual link building service proves to be a very effective method to soar high in the SERPs and only a professional SEO Company is your best and the most reliable helping hand for this task.

15 Proven Ways for Link Building to Improve Search Engine Rank

15 Proven Ways for Link Building to Improve Search Engine Rank

Everybody knows that you need great quality incoming links to improve your search engine ranking. It is easy to say but tough to follow unless you have identified the best strategy. In this article we have identified 15 proven link building strategies that would surely generate huge number of incoming links for your site.

Almost all webmasters know that incoming links are food for website. The website will rank high in the search engine result pages as long as they have great quality incoming links with related anchor text. It is easy to say but getting natural links for commercial websites is not a kid’s job. However, with experience you know, how to get links and from where you can get them. However, you must know how to approach a webmaster to negotiate a link for your site.

Here we have identified some proven ways to get links for better search engine rankings:

1. Submit your link to different good quality directories. This is perhaps the easiest way to get some one way link. However, a lot of good directories do not allow link to internal pages.

2. It is better to have some complimentary websites (for example a niche directory) to support your main site. If the complimentary websites get some page rank, you can contact other webmasters for 3-way or 4-way link building. However, as a rule of thumb, do not link your main website from the supplementary website or the other way round. Otherwise the search engines may track a pattern. At the same time make sure that all the websites are hosted under different IP.

3. You can add a blog with the main site that can get you a lot of natural links.

4. Write articles and submit them to some good quality web directory (3 to 5 directories at the most). This will easily provide you good quality one way links along with some visitors. You can also submit some articles to index new pages. It is always better to submit articles to industry specific article or news directories. For example if you run a financial website, submit articles to directories that publish financial articles only.

5. You can also contact different webmaster and provide them quality articles to get one way link. You will easily find a lot of webmasters and bloggers interested in this sort of link building.

6. Ask for links from your business associates. You can also look for other local websites (local library, schools etc.) for links.

7. Register with BBB and other local business bureaus. Links from such websites will also increase the trust factors.

8. Create pages in Squidoo, Hubpages and other similar websites and get links to your site.

9. There are a lot of websites that allow you to create lists on different topics. You may create a list and put your link with some other authoritative sites in your niche.

10. Bookmark the good quality pages of your site.

11. If possible, publish a RSS feed and syndicate it.

12. Post in different forums to get links from the signature. Although, links from most of the good forums are NOFOLLOW links, but they really help.

13. You can also buy some good quality text link from niche blogs (reviews) and directories.

14. Build some useful page (usually a longer one) that people would love to link. You can also create some useful tools (for example a unique calculator) to get some one way link – allow people to syndicate the tool or use them in their own site. In this way you will get a lot of one way link depending on the tool’s quality.

15. Give something Free – everyone loves to get free things and some of them will link to you. You can find a lot of website designing companies offer free template. These free templates get them a lot of one way link.

However, the best way to get real links from real people is to provide quality product and market it in a smarter way. You need nothing else to improve search engine rank – forever.

One Way Link Building Strategy – An Outsourcing Pitfall

One Way Link Building Strategy – An Outsourcing Pitfall

Everyone wants to build one way links to his web site, but there are various views about the right method for one way link building strategy. There’s no doubt that such increase in link popularity is the ideal method for gaining backlinks, but it isn’t as simple as people talk about it.

How to Build One Way Links!

To take on a quality one way link building strategy, you have to create quality content and deploy your desired key phrases in various places within it. Such content could be created to be used at different websites on the Internet:

1. An article to be submitted to article directories

2. A press release to be syndicated on the web,

3. An online newsletter to be submitted to social media,

4. And so on.

The important issue is that when you build one way links, you should use your selected key phrases at certain places within your content. Such key phrases should play the role of the anchor text to be your backlinks wherever applicable. Let’s review a few cases here.

One Way Link Building by Article Marketing

Website promotion via proper article marketing is one of the link building strategies that leads to one way link building. While doing so, you should make sure that your selected key phrases appear at title, first paragraph, throughout the body text, toward the end, and as anchor text at the "About the Author" section of your articles.

When you submit an article to article directories, you give them content for their readers. In return, they give you the "About the Author" section so that you could introduce yourself and your expertise as well as include your links. Your keywords should appear as text links there. This contributes to your search engine ranking and increases your link popularity while you add to the quality of such one way links by using your keywords in them.

Build One Way Links Using Press Releases

Website promotion via press release is another method to build one way links to your web site. Press Releases are about your company’s event, news, new product, service, etc. You write them yourself or get them written for you as keyword-rich content to be syndicated on the web.

Like in the case of article marketing above, as you provide content, you’ll be given a section called "boilerplate" at the bottom of your PR to introduce your company. So, you should mention your keyphrases at the title, first paragraph, throughout the body text, toward the end, and as anchor text at the "boilerplate" of the PR.

Use Your Online Newsletter for One Way Link Building

If you publish an online newsletter on any issue, you can use social bookmarking and social networking to build one way links. There you have to use the keyword-rich title of your webpage as an anchor text linking to your webpage. So, they lead visitors and search engines to your new content using your keyword.

Here, you have to make sure that the new content, new webpage on your site, has been optimized for search engines so that you could take maximum benefit in search engine marketing.

The Possible Pitfall in Outsourcing One Way Link Building

There is lots of Internet marketing companies out there these days and they all promise to build one way links for your web site. Of course, they may gain lots of links for your website, but what about the quality links you need to surpass your competitors? Do their new inbound links help you in this too?

Make sure such companies use your top-priority key phrases at the particular places introduced above for you. Sometimes, they overlook this important rule or even rule it out and think quantity can make up for the quality! So, they give you a long list of article syndication results, but you see no improvement in your organic search engine placement. This is when you should scrutinize into what they are actually doing for you.

A one way link building strategy takes focused attention and quality service. Organic SEO experts have to spend enough time to deploy several required techniques into bringing about quality link popularity improvement for your web site. So, make sure they build one way links that bear your desired key phrases.

Deep Link Building – Natural Linking Behaviour

Link Building – Natural Linking Behaviour

When building links you should always be careful not to represent unnatural link behaviour. Failure to do so may see you link building efforts wasted.

Effective link building is a complex affair and can be an extremely time consuming and laborious task. However quality links are extremely powerful and a constant flow of incoming links is essential for any website hoping to compete in the search engine marketplace.

When building links you should always be careful not to represent unnatural link behaviour. Failure to do so may see you link building efforts wasted. So how do you avoid being flagged as a site that participates in unnatural linking behaviour? Here are a few key pointers you should keep at the forefront of your mind when building links:

Deep Linking Google will give more weight to a site with 500 links all pointing to different pages on a site than it will a site with 750 links all pointing to the homepage. Link exchange programs can be used to acquire high volumes of links in an effort to boost rankings. The traits of a website that participates in such a program are a high percentage of inbound links all pointing to the same destination URL.

Just like any other tactic that becomes popular it often finds itself being abused by unethical SEO’s. And just like with previous tactics, such as stuffing the meta keywords tag, the major search engines adjust their algorithms to filter out websites that employ these tactics from their results.Even if you don’t participate in such a program, you should be mindful that your inbound links don’t all point to the homepage if you want to avoid triggering such filters.Another point to consider is that, with natural links, a website has little control over where an external site links to. Natural links will usually link to a page deep in the websites structure.

Varying Anchor Text

Many webmasters believe that the more keyword rich anchor text links to the target page the better. Wrong! As discussed, when a site acquires links naturally they have little control over where the external site links to. This is the same for the anchor text of natural links i.e. the webmaster has little control of the anchor text of inbound links. If you build high volumes of inbound links with duplicated anchor text you may be signalling to the search engines that there is unnatural linking activity. A high percentage of duplicated anchor text is also another trait of websites that participate in link exchange programs.

Of course it would be madness not to use your keywords in the anchor text of inbound links but to avoid triggering filters you should use variations of your keywords. If your site is about Link Building then, by all means, build links with that phrase in the anchor text but also build links with the terms "Links", "Building Links", "Linking Services", "Linking Strategies", "One-way links" and "Inbound Links" in the anchor text.

Balancing the Equation

There are many ways you can acquire links including Blogs, forum signatures, reciprocal links, articles, directories, press releases, link worthy content, site-wides, buying links and social media marketing, to name but a few. It is highly likely that a website with compelling content will acquire links from a variety of these sources. It will have press releases announcing new content, articles reviewing the site, listings in trusted directories and communities will be discussing the site in Blogs and forums.

A site that acquires links unnaturally may have a high percentage of links from article resource boxes or reciprocating sites. To avoid being picked out as a site that participates in unnatural linking behaviour you should ensure your site has inbound links from as many different types of source as possible.

Summary

Always ensure you have inbound links from a wide variety of sources to avoid triggering unnatural linking filters. Constantly analyse your back links and compare the types of links against each other. If you find you have no links from Blogs, then go off and start participating in a relevant discussion. If you notice there has been no recent news about your site then write a press release announcing the great new feature you have just added for your users. And if you notice that all of your links are from the same source i.e. reciprocal, then build more links from other sources to balance the equation. In all cases vary the anchor text and the destination URL of inbound links.

Video from Charles Kassotis and 3 Effective Link Building Strategies

How to get a PR 6 Backlink from MisterWong.com

3 Effective Link Building Strategies

If you want to get top rank in the search engine, you know that you need effective link building strategies. In this article, I’ll share with you some effective link building strategies you can use.

1. Web 2.0 sites

Some common web2.0 sites include blogger, squidoo, hubpages and not to forget the new Google Knol.

The idea here is to submit articles to these sites and get a couple of links back to your website.

Creating links through web2.0 sites require a lot of work. I’m constantly looking for ways to simply the task, but have not found a cheap and good way to do it. I know there are some good software out there. But I haven’t got time to try them.

2. Blog comments

Blog comment posting is a great method, frankly.

Remember this: I would rather have 1 PR3 "webpage" linking to my website compared to 100 PR0 "webpages". Note that I say webpage, not website.

For example, ezinearticle is a PR 6 website. But if you submit an article to it, the page with your article and link usually have PR 0.

How do you find high PR "webpages" to link to you?

Well, the answer is blog comment posting.

Your job is to find blog posts with high PR and with no "no-follow".

Give some good comments in the blog post with high PR and link it to your website through your name. But please, no spam. Write something useful. Most of the comments are moderated. If you write junk, it will be deleted.

If you can find 5-10 blogs with high PR and no "no-follow", you can keep using them for all your websites. Remember, I’m not talking about high PR for the homepage. I’m talking about high PR for the individual blog post.

That’s for free link building methods. When you have more websites, you can consider investing in some link building system.

3. Paid Link Building Services

The first one you should use is 3-way link. One account allows you to build links for 50 websites. You can consider this service when you have 10-20 websites. I assure you that you will see a jump in your Adsense earning one month after using this service! If you have 10-20 websites, the increase in earning will be more than enough to pay for the service.

The next one that I’m using is LinkVana. It’s expensive. You should only think about it when you make more than $1k a month. LinkVana is great for building links to the internal pages, something that 3-way link cannot do.
